The problem

Ellpha needed to ensure that Talentuum would effectively address the needs of HR professionals while remaining compliant with different regional regulations. The challenge was to validate the product's direction and make it intuitive and accessible across diverse markets.

The objective

The goal was to create a user-centered AI SaaS product that could seamlessly integrate into the existing workflows of HR professionals, providing them with tools to reduce bias in talent management.

The objective was to build a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that would effectively serve HR professionals in diverse markets, requiring both strategic insight and strong design capabilities. The MVP needed to be intuitive, effective, and adaptable to different organisational needs. To achieve this, user experience analytics would play a key role in understanding user behaviour and preferences and guiding necessary adjustments.

The approach

  • Conducted extensive user research involving HR professionals across the UK, USA, and Scandinavia.

  • Held interviews with 14 HR professionals from various industries and company sizes.

  • Competitor research on talent management and recruitment organisations assessing their focus and feature set.

  • Analysed research to identify key themes and needs that would shape the product.

  • Developed low-fidelity wireframes to map out user journeys for different personas.

  • Created a detailed UI component library to ensure consistency and ease of development.

  • Collaborated closely with Ellpha’s development partners to align design with technical requirements.

  • Iterated designs based on user experience analytics such as user feedback and insights.

“The research team and developers loved the design, we’ve had great feedback. Moreover, it’s easy to navigate, and we like the colour scheme, look and feel.

They were extremely flexible and agile. Trust them; they’re more than a design agency.

— Stéphanie Creff, CEO, Ellpha

The result

  • 14 HR professionals provided key insights through interviews.

  • In-depth research shaped the MVP's core features.

  • Comprehensive UI component library delivered for seamless integration.

  • Positive feedback received from both users and development teams.

  • Successful MVP launch that aligned with user needs and expectations.
